Ms. Tekela Michelle Burgess

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tekela Michelle Burgess of Ashburn, Georgia. Tekela was born on February 7, 1983, and departed this life on April 18, 2026.

Tekela was well known throughout her community for always being a bright light—a warm, uplifting presence who never hesitated to help others. Her kindness, generosity, and steady compassion touched countless lives and will continue to shine through the many people she supported and inspired.

• A Private Family viewing will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM.

• Public Viewing will take place on Friday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

• The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 521 Joe Lawrence Rd, Ashburn, GA 31714.
